GETTING DRESSSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Hi friends,

Deepest apologies for failing to deliver this newsletter to you in a consistent and timely fashion, but such is the busyness of life in late 2024, and trying to have two careers simultaneously - one is bound to fail.  I know you have plenty of other content to keep you distracted and occupied so I'm sure you haven't missed The First Option that much.  Since the last time I wrote, we've elected a new President and a lot of us have had to shake ourselves out of delusion, but I'm not going to get into it here, this is a space for beauty and pleasure, and I want us to have a lot more!

Having said that, I wanted to deliver some relevant ideas for all of the holiday festivities at the moment and there's no designer who inspires me more than PHOEBE PHILO, as many of you might already know, so with that I give you some haute inspo to carry you through to 2025!

Be sure to click on the big 'Shop this look' button beneath each board for a link through to my new storefront on ShopMy.  I think this system will serve you better with tons of extra options and alternatives at different price points and less credits taking up room in your scroll.  Let me know what you think of this new setup, I'm always grateful to hear from you!

Speaking of gratitude this Thanksgiving, I'm making a concerted effort to focus more on what's already abundant in my life, on making more time and space for relationships, on counting my blessings, and most importantly, on being more present in the Now, where all real manifestation happens.

I might've already made the case for a long, black dress - every woman needs to have at least one - but I feel strongly about it so here we go again, and for the Holidays, throwing in some red options as well. Wear it with cherry red heels, and later kick them off for a chic slipper, especially if celebrating at home. Some statement earrings and the reddest of red nail polish finish it off!

I've always loved a Winter White look, and these Haute interpretations are chic!  Some wide leg white jeans and a cream satin top or robe are perfectly effortless.  A touch of gold on your ears, and some pointy black flats are all you need.

'Tis the season, be sparkly and fun and wear a metallic or sequined dress!  Dance all night, even if just in your livingroom, in some crystal-encrusted ballet flats (I told you they'd come in handy!) and a swingy pair of waterfall earrings!

Finally, if you're in a pinch, I'm sure you can find some black and white separates in your closet that can pull together for a super chic ensemble.  Add some bold jewelry and keep it easy!

That's it for today, short and sweet, and full of great style!  I'm cooking up some Gift Guides and have a lot of other ideas to share so I'll be back, but in the meantime, do poke around my ShopMy storefront where I've already got a bunch of great stuff linked up for you.

I'm so very grateful for your time and support dear friends. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Love, Natasha xx
